Responsibilities include all aspects of daily operations of a 25-truck FedEx contracted carrier from maintaining trucks, asset management, property management, human resources, driver retention, safety, SOP documentation, licensing and registration. Focus on OPEX reduction and process development for maintaining trucks. Improved payroll process from a 6 hour program to a 35-minute process with the use of Excel template. Worked on cost-per-mile analysis to make sure the company was as profitable as possible.

Over see procurement, maintenance and retirement of all vehicles. Managed a team of 7 to provide road call assistance to all drivers. Managed CAPEX and OPEX totaling over $40M and looked for cost reductions were we could. Also managed asset lifecycle and created 5 year asset replacement plan. Reviewed and updated all maintenance practices SOPs. Managed company fuel program with working on locations to be compliant to our selected fuel partner and also developed strategies for locations that did not have options. Work on programs to reduce OPEX spend across all locations. Reduced the company rentals from 18% to 5% in 6 months. Also developed a cost per mile matrix to help understand total cost of ownership.

Responsible for strategic sourcing and negotiating contracts for over $250 million in goods and services and coordinating requirements with suppliers. Negotiate contracts with suppliers to ensure cost, quality, service, innovation and sustainability for all fleet capital and operating expenses.CCE has the 3rd largest fleet in the country with over 35,000 vehicles and 20,000 pieces of warehouse equipment. Basically if it has wheels and a motor, I am working on the contracts with the suppliers to keep these pieces of equipment operating.I also serve as liaison between suppliers and CCE fleet employees ensuring their satisfaction. This is accomplished through escalation of supplier implementation issues, overseeing fleet supplier integration with the business units and ensure early involvement in the development of new processes, designs, strategies and alliances.

Senior Procurement Specialist - PET. Responsible for providing analytical support of multi-billion dollar spend in Commodities Procurement team for PET procurement director of PET Resins & Bottles. Included in this function is developing and improving information gathering processes as well as database design and systems development to provide CCBSS and CCE reporting, tracking, monitoring, bid analysis, savings modeling and rebate calculations. This position will also facilitate the E-Procurement initiative within the respective areas, and support contract database and Supplier Relationship Management initiatives.

Working with CCE’s suppliers, CM's, and DPM's to implement the suppliers into CCE's SAP/EBP. Responsibilities include project planning, project management, weekly conference calls, legal documents to be signed, EDI transactions, webform transactions, setting up the supplier up as an EBP vendor, and configuring the suppliers catalog in SAP. Working with an internal catalog that is loaded into Requisite’s E-Merge and BugsEye catalog, or a “round trip” catalog using an OCI connection. Also I maintain and designed the procurement departments website using a new tool called Stellent Content management tool and assisted with setting the intranet standards and taxonomy by which all of CCE intranet pages are now following. Stellent allows authors/contributors to submit content and publish to the website without a HTML programmers intervention. Also I am responsible for technical support of CCE’s procurement department’s electronic RFP’s and reverse auctions using the Ebreviate.
