I have been working in the timber industry for over 25 years. During this time I have acquired practical skills in project management, running an engineering business designing, manufacturing and installing sawmill equipment, pellet and briquette manufacturing plant, fabricating pallet dismantling equipment and a lot of other timber related equipment as well. From fabrication on the workshop floor to closing deals on multi million dollar contracts over the past 25 years, as the proprietor, I have been involved in all stages of project delivery for my clients.Since 2015 I have pursued my passion for making biomass pellets. I have installed a pellet manufacturing facility in my factory that makes wood pellets for domestic consumption in pellet consuming devices in South Eastern Australia. It also operates as a test bed for our customers to test their biomass waste for suitability to make pellets. We conduct production & consumption testing and write summary research reports on our findings.I have been closely involved with the design & installation of 4 medium sized pellet plants in Australia and have worked on the technical design and project feasibility analysis of a further 4 large scale pellet plants with export capacity volumes. We work closely with our European based technology partners to deliver world class solutions for our Australian customers.When not working I love to travel riding adventure motorbikes in remote locations like Northern India, Thailand, Vietnam and through the middle of Australia. 4WDing & camping during the spring / autumn months fills in any spare time that I get.
