Providing Industrial Hygiene support to US Naval Command across four installationson Guam for post hurrican Mawar relief efforts. Duties include site evaluations for damage assessments looking for typhoon related damage including: mold, asbestos, and construction hazards. Hazard recognition, evaluation, control, and confirmation of controls duties. Led onsite and offsite efforts of hazard recognition travel groups performing Baseline and Periodic assessments of various US Military facilities. Provide point of contact liaison support between AECOM and NAVFAC Industrial Hygiene and Safety programs to facilitate field sampling, data collection, and program direction.

I am currently performing as the resident Occupational Health and Safety Specialist for the University of Montana. My duties include safety inspections of facility buildings, environmental assessment investigations, hazard identification, asbestos inspector sampling and Industrial Hygiene program implementation and maintenance. I conduct safety walkdowns and oversite of building contractor jobsites and maintenance. I help provide training in various aspects for different health and safety programs including respiratory protection, hazard identification, the SDS chemical program, bloodborne pathogen, AED/CPR/first aid, confined space, fall protection, and PPE selection and use.

Working on various dig sites and RPAS projects providing Industrial Hygiene oversight and performing Site Safety Officer duties related to hazardous waste sites, sample collection, training, data review and reports. Trained remediation personnel, safety personnel and management in multiple topics and issues including: industrial hygiene hazard recognition; hazard communication; lock-out tag-out procedure; confined space entry; respiratory protection; PPE use; ammonia; indoor air quality identification and control strategies; hearing conservation; asbestos, beryllium program management, hazardous waste contractor management, safety observation principles (behavior based safety) and mobile equipment safety.

Providing Industrial Hygiene support to US Army Public Health Command across 35 Army installations CONUS & OCONUS with hazard recognition, evaluation, control, and confirmation of controls duties. Led onsite and offsite efforts of hazard recognition travel groups performing Baseline and Periodic assessments of various army facilities. Provide point of contact liaison support between CTC and Army Industrial Hygiene programs to facilitate field sampling, data collection, and program direction. Increased use of DOEHRS-IH by Army IH/Safety personnel by providing program support guidance to onsite Industrial Hygienists. Evaluated and addressed Data Gap discrepancies between US Army personnel and the local Industrial Hygiene Program Office (IHPO). Provide sampling support for various metals, fumes, noise, and mold sources to the local IHPO. Provided and established Program Office data correction and input to DOEHRS-IH database. Manage ISR, tracking software and automated reporting of progression metrics. Supply QA/QC to new and updated DOEHRS-IH records.
