I started as an office clerk in the transport office and through promotions, I became a location manager operating 3 sites and 2 waste transfer stations. Managing the profit and loss, staff recruitment and selection, vehicles and the waste transfer stations, as well as being Contracts Manager for GKN Westlands Helicopters and looking after their special waste needs. This was a busy and challenging role which I thoroughly enjoyed.
