A Chartered Engineer and Retired Managing Director of CAD 21 Tony’s role was to manage the mechanical and Electrical Building Services Design Engineering teams. Tony has a B.Sc. degree (with commendation) in Building Services Engineering and is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Building services Engineering as well as a corporate member of both the Energy Institute and I.H.E.E.M.Tony has been involved in the design of building services systems since 1977 and has extensive knowledge in most types of systems and procurement methods. He has extensive knowledge in low energy design including heat recovery, heat pumps, energy controls, condensing boiler and under floor heating systems, solar panels and low energy lighting.Tony has recently overseen a number of P21 and PFI healthcare schemes.With regard to energy and sustainability Tony has ensured that CAD 21 are at the forefront of low carbon design including heat recovery, heat pumps, low energy lighting, condensing boilers, natural ventilation, rain water harvesting and energy saving controls.Tony is currently a consultant offering advice to a team who are delivering 3D building services design to CAD 21 utilising Revit and Navis works software which produced a fully integrated 3D model for mental health schemes currently underway.
