He prefers a practical approach, and with his background in law, accounts and economics, has trained thousands of IFAs, Accountants and Solicitors in all aspects of financial services - having formed the first Financial Services Training company in the UK. He continues with his lecture programme today, and is visiting Professor at London Guildhall Metropolitan University Business and Law School and Rhodes University Business School in South Africa.He specialises in entrepreneurship and businesss growth and development. A market innovator, he initiated the first Annuity Bureau as an open market option clearing house for pensions; the first HMRC EIS approved fund; the concept of Corporate Benefit Audits in corporate financial planning; the first Independent Trustee Review and compliance service and may others. He is currently launching a major new employee benefit - the Employer Subsidised Mortgage, a tool to attract and retain key staff in businesses.He is a recipient of the SA Business Club's (Chamber of Commerce) Lifetime Achievement Award for services to businesses and the people in them. A Graduate of Rhodes University (South Africa), he is a former UK Alumni Trustee and winner of the Distinguished Old Rhodian Award; a former President of the Financial Planning Institute (FPI) of South Africa, and former President of the Chartered Insurance Institute's Shropshire and Mid Wales Division. An admitted advocate (non practising), he works closely with legal and accountancy firms in new business development and raising finance for them and their clients. He is an FRSA and holds degrees in law, commerce, and economics. Tony is a member of the Worshipful Company of International Bankers (WCIB) and a Freeman of the City of London.. He is a former Chairman of Sulnox Group PLC whose products reduces harmful emissions from diesel and other fuels, whilst creating fuel and maintenance savings.
