I moved to Volvo to gain more experience working in another country and culture, and to take up a position with responsibility for exploring possible strategic directions for Volvo interiors. This involved managing a small team of designers with the aim of creating advanced interior studies to prove out strategies, concepts and components prior to the production design phase, demonstrating these ideas through models, prototypes and concept cars.

Responsible for creating and leading advanced Interior studies, both "blue sky" concepts and pre-production, and also managing the ongoing development of interior direction for forthcoming models at Land Rover and including the recent successful interior facelifts on both the Defender, and Range Rover. Completed a 22-month secondment from Land Rover to Ford of Europe to manage several exciting new small car interior projects. Responsible for recent facelift of Ford Ka interior, contributed on Fiesta and Fusion enhancement projects and concept work on future and show models. Transferred to Land Rover as part of Rover Group sell off by BMW. Involved in developing new products and concepts to strengthen and extend the brand, including Discovery 3 and Range Rover Sport, and facelifts of existing car lines, notably the Freelander. Also involved in liaising with Paramount Films to create vehicles that featured in the "Tomb Raider" movie, and designed accompanying merchandise range to allow Land Rover to maximise publicity generated by film release.
