Buildings and Stations SupervisorClient: MBTA Location: Boston, MaSupervisor overseeing the sub Contractor for the construction of 7 station platforms and head Houses along with the installation of two (2) main TPSS (Traction Power Sub Station), installed all civil underground utilities and the mobilization and demobilization of equipment for the project. Attended and conducted daily STA and JHA reviews, schedule work activities, progress reviews, engineering, and quality management.

Marine Offloading Facility (MOF) SupervisorClient: LNG Canada Location: Kitimat, BCResponsible to oversee the daily activities of the EPC Contractor building the MOF. Attended and conducted weekly SIMOPS (Marine and Civil), schedule, progress, engineering, quality and safety meetings. Reported directly to the site construction manager when MOF CM was on turnaround. Backshift responsibility to the Berth contractor in the absence of the Berth Supervisor. Area authority in the marine area to coordinate the geotechnical investigation and permit system.

Working as a Field Construction Manager to construct the new Purple Line LRT project in Silver Spring, MD. I was also assigned in the Construction position for Fluor with the proposal team on a multi level pursuit.My position with the LRT project is to manage the daily activities of the 6.5 mile alignment that include staffing, scheduling and planning, safety, cost, and coordination with all trades and civil authorities.

My Position held on the project was the Area Construction Services Manager which included (site services, site survey, site scaffolding, heavy lift operations, RORO operations, warehouse operations, directional drilling cable pulling activities, sub-station construction, and building logistical operations). I was responsible for the management of multiple activities and a crew of 10 employees. There were many contractors involved in our daily tasks and coordination was key for keeping things running smoothly.

Dow Reverse Osmosis Water Element Project: Assigned as the Site Manager to construct the RO Water Element assembly and packaging unit. Project consists of a steel structure 175 m X 74 m X 12 m manufacturing building for Dow Chemical Company.

Power Distribution Building Construction: Construction Manager assigned to construct 1 x 230 kv GIS Substations, 3 x 34.5 kv GIS Remote Distribution Substations and 5 x 34.5 kv GIS Switching Stations. Sadara Project.

Chem II ISS Area 309 Sadara Project – Sugarland, Texas

Project Number 1:JBOG (Jetty Boil Off Gas) Project:I was responsible for the planning and the execution of the work at the Central Compressor Area which involves, 1940 foundation piles with temporary and permanent Cathodic protection , a 135 kv substation, 33 kv substation, and ITR building, pipe rack construction and 3 compressor stations. There are multiple contractors on the job that require a lot of coordination and constant planning to incorporate many changing conditions, enforcing all safety rules and procedures and conducting weekly safety audits. This unit when completed will recover the boil off gas from the flares and turn it back into usable product. Project Number 2:New Berth 6 Loading Dock and Pipeline:I was primarily responsible for the management of the contractor’s daily activities and schedule as well as providing leadership to our employees and consulting with the client. The project was to construct the ship loading facility and pipe lines from the processing facility to the loading facility. I was involved in the Planning and scheduling of work between all contractors, enforcing all safety rules and procedures and conducting weekly safety audits.

Project Number 1:145th St bridge and Willis Ave Bridge Projects:I was responsible for the daily schedule and cost on the construction of the civil abutments and water piers. I managed the Rebar installation contractor and directed his daily activities. I had daily coordination meetings with the client to keep them apprised of the status of the project. I was involved in the Planning and scheduling of work between all crafts, enforcing all safety rules and procedures and conducting weekly safety audits. Project Number 2:SanFrancisco Oakland Bay Bridge Project:A joint venture project between Kiewit, Flatiron and Manson Construction. Duties assigned on the project were, Superintendent for yard, foundation box’s construction, pile and column cage setting, foundation concrete and PT tendon pressure grouting. Daily activities include time card preparation, scheduling, planning and implementing field operations, tracking labor distribution and daily cost. I was involved in the Planning and scheduling of work between all crafts, enforcing all safety rules and procedures and conducting weekly safety audits.Project Number 3:Diavik Diamond Mines Water Retention Dyke Project:Building of a 3.5-mile water retention dyke in an isolated northern environment. Duties assigned were planning and managing of the marine operation for the placement of the filter blanket material and the dredging of the footprint where the dyke would sit. Coordinate all material hauling from the Crusher unit to the loading facility. Mobilization of the equipment to and from the site and completed the operation ahead of schedule and under budget. I was involved in the Planning and scheduling of work between all crafts, enforcing all safety rules and procedures and conducting weekly safety audits.

Conoco Philips Loading Facility:Dredging of the ocean corridor and pulling of the 2 x 36” offshore lines into the beach for connection to the main line. Set up and manage daily operations of an ASHTO Module assembly yard for the construction of an offshore ship-loading platform. I was involved in the Planning and scheduling of work between all crafts, enforcing all safety rules and procedures and conducting weekly safety audits.

Confederation Bridge Project:Duties assigned were the upkeep and maintenance of the rig and supervision of a 15 man crew. Our function on the project was the heavy lifts of the equipment as needed, the dredging of all the main piers and the placement of the tremmie concrete and grout. I was involved in the Planning and scheduling of work between all crafts, enforcing all safety rules and procedures and conducting weekly safety audits.

I attained the rank of master seaman in the Boatswain division. My trade was responsible for all the ships operations, which included fueling at sea, weapons operations, anchorages, towing, and above/below water demolitions.
