Once an approved solution is found I write the business paper to obtain investment and then project manage the National roll out of any solutions. A founding member of the Weather Resilience & Climate Change Board, which coordinates and prioritises Network Rail’s weather related enhancement schemes. Following the privatisation of the rail industry and the introduction of the passengers charter / delay attribution, the role was introduced to investigate and rectify delay causes within the retail department as a result of station duties / dispatch and train crew. The role covered the entire South Western Trains area for services out of London Waterloo.
