Throughout the course of my professional career, I’ve consistently been rewarded with expanded levels of responsibility due to my track record of leadership and accountability.In fact, as you review my profile, you will note that during my time with Tonic, I worked my way up from being a Doorman all the way to General Manager of a high volume location in the heart of Times Square. Sadly, like so many businesses, it was forced to shutter during the COVID-19 pandemic. However, under my leadership we were still able to accomplish a tremendous amount while generating significant revenue. Please allow me to expand on some skills and achievements below: Currently I am the General Manager at Ashford and Six26 which is a combination restaurant and lounge in Jersey City, NJ. In this position, I preside over more than 80 staff members including 20 security personnel. During my time, I have recruited quality candidates, trained staff, and ensured an exceptional customer experience. I am also accountable for booking and hosting special events at the venue. I am proud to say that we were able to operate safely during the pandemic. As I mentioned briefly before, during my time at Tonic I guided daily operations including financial administration, employee management, and special events. I also ensured that all sanitization, sterilization, and safe food-handling practices were maintained. I am proud to share that year after year we generated a significant profit while serving customers from around the world in NYC. I’d be remiss if I didn’t mention that I am fluent in English, French, and Arabic. In addition, I possess my Safe Food Handling Certificate - NYC, Bar Card – NYC, TIPS Certification, and NY State Security License.
