Work on the Engineering Project Management Team. The team does project management for the Systems Administration NetBackup Engineering team. Projects include new lab build outs, life cycle storage, and recommend solutions to the SysAdmin and NetBackup Engineering. My main role is on the storage side.- Project manage the purchase of new Tier 1 disk array for test automation team. This project expanded the capacity of the automated Build, Package and Test environment by 25x, while reducing the test time by half. - This includes proof of concept 3 disk arrays - Manage install and configuration of the array - Manage the migration of VMs off of older array - Installing and configuration of VMware cluster- Lead a global team of administrators that was responsible for storage across 4 sites. - Monitor, configure, and administer storage arrays from major vendors.- Experience with HP 3PAR, HP MSA, EMC Clariion and VNX, NetApp 7-mode and cDOT, Dell Compellent, and Hitachi AMS2500- Life cycle and consolidate older arrays- Advise in the purchase of enterprise server hardware - X86 servers from HP and Dell, including blade servers- Mentor team members on new storage array - Includes teaching administration - Teach team members on new array features and technology- Act as a liaison between DevOps team and industry sales teams- Install, configure, and troubleshoot Operating Systems - Windows - VMware - Linux

I work i the hardware compatibility group. I verify tape drives, tape libraries, VTLs, disk arrays work with NetBackup.
