Starting this challenge I had to take a storage room full of random products and create a functional retail parts system, data base, and storage plan. My team and I have come along way in the short amount of time but we are a long ways away from perfection. Adding to the Volvo line we also have persued Mercury Marine, Arneson Surface drives. We are growing as a retail supplier working with local and global companies trying to fill customer needs and wants, while providing professional top notch service and repairs.

The sales service and repair shop mainly focuses on HD Transport, Forklifts, Towing and truck mounted Cranes. House brands include PM Cranes, Global Forklifts, NRC Towing & Recovery, Buyers / Saltdogg, Sunfab pumps, Fabercom (Scanreco) Remotes and TW retail parts. Our shop is registered to preform CVI's and NDT testing for equipment and materials. Our welding shop is always busy retro fitting decks and cranes on numerous applications. We routinely source parts from all around the world for our customers equipment and shop repairs. Recently we have taken on the daunting task of moving locations to our new 25000sq' location proving the much need room for expansion and bigger brighter future in the retail parts market. Meet and escort oversize transport loads that are required for diamond mines and exploration camps up the ice road.Ensure loads are safe and operators understand our company policies and procedures for escorting.Maintain two way communications with transport operators announcing on coming traffic, potential hazards, obstructions and calling out mile markers so other transport operators know our location.As part of a large team I was involved in road shutdowns for extremely large loads being escorted up to the diamond mines on the ice road.Working in the shop as a labourer I was responsible for assisting mechanics by greasing and servicing tractors, getting parts, washing equipment and housekeeping. I also had the task of marking the filling ports of fuel tankers for verification to make sure the tanks are at maximum capacity for transport.

My fiber glass work experience included mold making, laying up wet product, cutting out and shaping, prepping / finishing of final product (body work) quality control. These parts included Hoods, Fenders, Side skirts, Sleeper caps (roofs). During my employment I was privileged enough to learn all of the skills need to produce quality fiberglass parts from start to finish. Promoted to the position of final inspector and head of quality control in the finishing shop, Our final product had to meet ISO9001 quality control guide lines. Being accountable for the work of my crew and the final product quality was a huge responsibility for the amount of product we were manufacturing. In the quality control area I also was in charge of building special wood pallets and crates for the safe shipping the final product to the truck plant.
