The Company is the first joint venture between Sony and SVA in China.My job is to integrate the Chinese suppliers and provide what we have centralized purchased to overseas factories.In routine work, mostly I work with Southeast Asia colleagues. Adjusting PO schedule, arranging shipment and due-date management are daily work. Every week we share the AOG(Arrival of goods) info and manufacturing situation with Sony's oversea factories through video conferences. Every shipment need apply custom clearance, I need prepare all the information about shipment for our trading to make Invoice and packing list.And also sometimes we need import custom clearance. I received documents used for custom clearance sometimes.It’s every important to make all the shipments clearance smoothly, especially for company like SONY who use JIT(Just-in-time) mode.Managing suppliers is another part of my work. I am in charge of more than 20 suppliers. To ensure the goods arrive on time, I built strong relationship with them. In my management, the supply becomes smoothly. About 5 of the suppliers are getting improved on due-date management and the accuracy rate of AOG has been raised from 78% to 93%.

It's a great honor to been joined in the Disney International College Program in Orlando, Florida.During 6 months, I got two jobs and worked as a full-time employee. The first one was to guide and help the customers to enjoy the attractions.The main responsibility was to answer all kinds of questions from customers, moving strollers to parking area, guiding customers to seats, telling them the matters need attention, receiving FASTPASS, controlling the FASTPASS Distribution, etc.The second was to serve customers in the theme restaurant called PIZZA PLANET.The main responsibility was to answer all kinds of questions also, cleaning tables, cleaning trash cans, making pizza, filling drinks, cleaning trays, keeping condiment bar full, making salad and cookies, etc.Both of them were hard for me, but also gave a lot of fun to me. I also did a lot of paper work during the 6 months including a course learning called “Disney Corporate Communication” and some E-learning courses.The lesson schedule was 4 HOURS/WEEK. My final score of the course was 81.The rest of time was for us to work. Because of J1 VISA, our work limited time was 37 hours/week.I lived in dormitory which Disney provided and paid the rent every week.There were 3 Chinese and a Canadian in my apartment. We got along with each other.For the international worker, the most two difficult problems are language and culture differences. At first, I was really afraid of talking to native speakers. I even didn’t know much about American’s social customs and habits. Through lessons and hanging out with my colleagues, I finally adapted myself to this new society. I overcame all the difficulties, and provided excellent serve to our customers. Everybody likes me.During the 6 months, I also travelled a lot. I used my vacations to travel to LA, Las Vegas, Miami, Key West, San Antonio, Austin and New York. Those travels are amazing and helpful to me to know this country.
