Trulife Healthcare is an IS13485 Quality Standard accredited and FDA regulated medical device manufacturer.In 2007, I took on the role of Health and Safety Officer / Quality Engineer covering three sites and over 100 staff. One of my greatest achievements in Trulife was managing the safe transfer of the entire business to a new site. One of my proudest projects was where I managed to divert waste to recycling saving in excess of €50,000 per year. I drove the introduction of bar coding saving in excess of €10,000 each year and implemented a highly successful safety footwear campaign with 100% compliance. I also successfully achieved and maintained Aviation Security Known Consignor certification. As Quality Engineer my main focus was resolving Customer Quality issues. I was an integral member of the multi-functional customer team and carried out quality audits. I performed process validations, raised and followed-up CAPAs and was responsible for Document Control.I also managed Property Management service agreements.

Process and product improvements; layouts; new product introduction; department transfers; specify and source new equipment; Improve space utilisation. Work closely with R&D from product design stage to ensure ease of manufacture and to build in quality. I saved over €60,000 per year by improving line productivity, allowing staff to be deployed elsewhere.My most memorable achievement in this role was when I cut moulding time on high volume products by 60%.
