Tony is a dynamic leader who is passionate about helping investors optimize their investment returns through investing in listed and unlisted commercial property. He believes cross border investment by Australian investors investing in international property markets and international investors investing in Australia is vital to ensuring both Australian and international investors are adequately diversified and resilient to market changes.To achieve this, Tony has accepted the position of General Manager of Capital Transactions & Strategic Relationships at Vicinity Centres.Prior to this, Tony was CEO at International Property Funds Management (IPFM), a joint venture of IFM Investors and ISPT. The purpose of IPFM is to capitalise on opportunities in international real estate markets and access them for the benefit of Australian superannuation funds – without the excessive fees that erode member returns.With more than 25 years of experience, and having worked on hundreds of acquisitions and divestments, Tony deeply understands property, finance and funds management. Throughout his career he has maintained a focus on ensuring he has broad and diverse experience in each area and has worked across the spectrum of technical valuation analytics; commercial, retail and industrial development; property, asset, portfolio and fund management.Tony is best known for sourcing, negotiating and structuring deals, along with having very strong stakeholder management capabilities and outstanding networks. He has worked in a number of growing businesses and has overseen enormous growth in the funds he has managed. In his new role at Vicinity, Tony will focus on repositioning Vicinity Centres' portfolio to optimize performance for shareholders and similarly work with current joint venture co-owners and new investors to optimize the investment return of their properties.
