During my current role as general manager, I am responsible for or sales strategy, business development, hiring/ training all staff members, budgeting, as well as running all day to day operations within the facility. Since my arrival in this role I have grown revenue year on year to an overall increase of 25% which also led to me winning a national award in 2018 for the best retail space in Ireland.I have I worked on a variety of projects including streamlining all operations and branding for our 13 ClubVitae sites as part of a 4-person steering committee. I have also just won Manager of the year for 2019 as well as Leisure club of the year for Dalata PLC in 2018 for for continuing to motivate our staff to achieve both individual goals and collective business targets. To date, I have specialised in organising centres in every aspect from rosters, sales strategies, employee engagement scores to creating all operational policies and procedures. I am passionate about delivering high standards in a fast-paced environment. I have managed two departments and 20 staff members for the past 7 years exceeding monthly and annual target is both areas. . I have implemented a new membership software system ClubWise. I have helped develop a smart leisure centre organisation app with software company Over-C. This is a tool which moves all paper based checked lists over to a digital platform that tracks employee tasks through their shift and ensure optimal service/ staffing levels. This has not only reduced operational complaints by 60% but it has also streamlined all employees daily duties resulting in a 97% employee satisfaction score in our latest staff survey.My education and work experience to date have provided me with experience in strategic planning, writing reports, and completing budget presentations at a boardroom level for our CEO and shareholders.
