Commands a Headquarters and Headquarters Company for a Battlefield Surveillance Brigade. Primary mission: to conduct intelligence, surveillance and reconaissance operations to enable the division commander to precisely focus joint elements of combat power and simultaneously execute current operations while preparing for future operations. Responsible for morale, welfare, safety and ensures Soldiers are properly equipped and ready to accomplish all assigned missions. Develops and mentors subordinate leaders. Responsible for ensuring disaster preparedness of all critical systems, personnel, and facilities are prepared to operate at a degraded state.• During this rating period, I commanded a team through an extremely turbulent period consisting of preparation for a Bde-level mobilization in support of Operation New Dawn, • 33 new equipment fieldings, • Bde SICPS Events 1 and 2, numerous premobilization meetings and conferences, and ABCS training. • The Bde's preparation for mobilization culminated in a 45-day Bde-level Exportable Combat Training Center (XCTC) collective training event at Camp Blanding, Florida, with two first-ever 333-mile Bde-level movements to and from the training site.

Recruited to leverage military experience as a contractor with the US Army Special Forces. Maintain, develop and implement multiple SharePoint 2007 server and Microsoft 2005 and 2008 SQL database farms for 1200-2400 users. Build multiple Intranet portals and Internet collaboration tools using MS SharePoint and integrate these portals with other systems. Work independently and at an advanced level within fast-paced environment. Representative projects include:• Performed a migration from a 2003 to 2007 user portal.
