I am a half-field half-office hybrid looking for some newer and bigger challenges. My background is a bit complex but it makes for some really great stories. I've been to 48 of the 50 states and have performed work in places most people may never get a chance to see, like inside Pump Station One on the Trans-Alaska Pipeline System at Prudhoe Bay, AlaskaMy ideal job now would be with a company that creates GPS/tracking and traceability software solutions for the public utility industry. I want to develop GPS driven mobile solutions for mapping pipeline facilities that also help meet all PHMSA federal tracking and traceability requirements. The time that I have spent in the natural gas industry in the field doing hands on work "in the ditch", gives me a unique perspective that not many normal software development type folks have.I possess a very complex background of varied work experiences and a considerably large skill set that runs the gamut from hands on mechanical aptitude repairing complex electrical/mechanical/hydraulic systems to straight office based computer/software work.My strongest attribute is that I can easily wear and switch between many hats within a workplace. You can find me installing or repairing equipment, producing reports and metrics by analyzing GIS/GPS production data in the office, producing new technical or training materials in Word, Publisher or PowerPoint, or conducting engaging training sessions in a classroom or field setting to personnel at all skill levels. In every role I take, I strive to be a leader, inspiring and motivating employees to accomplish and exceed our goals.I combine the best of both worlds; field and office all in one package. I function equally well in all work environments: on my own with little to no supervision (think full remote assignment), as an engaged member of a tightly knit team, or as the leader, ensuring any goal or metric is consistently met or exceeded.
