I currently work at Creston Community School District in Southwest Iowa. I'm the High School Success Program Coordinator, as well as teaching 9-12 PE. I also coach varsity girls basketball, Freshmen baseball, 7th grade football, and 8th grade girls track. Before Creston, I taught Middle School PE and Health in Nevada, Iowa from 2016-2018. I was also the Head Girls Basketball Coach, as well as being an assistant varsity football coach and middle school girls track coach. I spent 5 years of teaching and coaching at St. Johns High School in St. Johns, Arizona. Prior to that, I spent eight years doing the same duties at the Howard-Winnshiek Community School district in my hometown of Cresco, IowaI genuinely love being a teacher and a coach. To have the privilege and responsibility to have a positive influence on young people's lives is something that I take very seriously and am very passionate about.
