Short Bio: Dr. Piscitelli is a lecturer at Norwich University’s School of Graduate Studies in Military History, Northfield, VT. He was also the former Founder, Chairman of the Board, President, and CEO of American Defense Systems, Inc. He is an acknowledged expert in security and anti-terrorism physical, operational and electronic security systems with over 38 years of industry experience with a specialization in the blast, ballistic and forced entry mitigation. Dr. Piscitelli and his company played an active role in GWOT (Global War on Terrorism), OEF (Operation Enduring Freedom – Afghanistan) and OIF (Operation Iraqi Freedom) for the Department of Defense and other agencies. Tony Piscitelli is a reformed political scientist turned historian, with a special interest in military affairs and the American Revolution. He has completed his Ph.D. at the University of Glasgow, School of Humanities – History Department with an emphasis on War Studies and the US Marine Corps. He has also published his first book, The Marine Corps Way of War in 2017 with Savas Beatie Publishers of Eldorado Hills California. All net proceeds from The Marine Corps Way of War have been donated to the Marine Corps University Foundation.
