I was a Member of the Australian Government's Domestic Offsets Integrity Committee (Member DOIC - March 2012; Chair April 2013 to January 2014, Member 2014 to July 2014). The DOIC was an independent expert committee supporting the environmental integrity of carbon offsets generated under the Carbon Farming Initiative.

The Antarctic Climate & Ecosystems Cooperative Research Centre is a partnership dedicated to the study of atmospheric, cryospheric and oceanic processes of Antarctica and the Southern Ocean, their role in global and regional climate change, and their impact on sustainable management of Antarctic marine ecosystems. Its core partners are the Australian Antarctic Division, CSIRO, University of Tasmania, Australian Government Department of Climate Change and Energy Efficiency, National Institute of Water and Atmosphere (NZ), Alfred Wegener Institute (Germany). ACE has 17 other partners in Australia and around the globe.
