Tony was head of the global M&A business for JLL Hotels & Hospitality Group combining investment banking skills with specialist property expertise. Tony and his team provided JLL's clients with strategic advice in relation to corporate and entity level transactions, buy and sell side M&A advisory, sourcing capital and cross-border transactions.Tony was involved in a number of high profile M&A transactions among hotel and travel groups as they sought to consolidate, drive efficiencies and extend their global footprint. In 2018 Tony originated Accor's US $940 million acquisition of Mantra Hotels (20,000 rooms) and acted as commercial advisor to Accor in the transaction (see article). In 2018-2019, Tony and the team also acted in relation to the potential acquisition of Belmond Hotel portfolio (46 hotel, rail and cruise businesses).

Tony resided in and operated from Singapore from 2012 to 2018.Tony’s experience encompassed, hotel and resort development, sales, acquisitions and financings, hotel management and franchising agreements, capital raising and fund structuring. Tony's clients included a host of global investors and brands (Marriott, Hyatt, IHG and Accor). Tony advised on mixed use projects e.g., hotel, commercial, residential or transport components in Singapore, Japan, Indonesia, Vietnam, India, China and Australia. Tony spoke regularly at industry conferences across Asia including HICAP events in Hong Kong, Singapore and Sydney.
