Managed the implementation and launch of several new process lines. o Startup of in-house frame fabrication as a key to cost savings and custom frames helping to differentiate and grow the Company’s fabric graphics capability. o Grand format dye sublimation printers that resulted in 3 times the throughput at twice the quality. o Automated cutting equipment reducing waste and increasing productivity. o UV printing created the ability to produce graphics onto new substrates. o Dye sublimation onto fabric; fabric graphics are now the largest segment of the Company’s business accounting for over 60% of sales annually. o Sewing department capability which now operates on 3 shifts and is an integral part of the success of fabric graphic operations.• Researched market needs and trends, tested products and worked with suppliers to provide the correct products for our clients. • Responsible for new products from development to implementation with more than 10 new products launched each year from 2000 to 2011, including: o Xpresssions product line averages over $4 million in sales per year o Burst products averaging $2.5 million in sales per year o Various Banner stands totaling over $3 million in sales per year• Managed product concept, design, production and implementation of the Summit banner stand which reduced cost by 40% over the previous product.• Inventor on US Patents 6,582,801 and 6,643,966 and named on another still pending.
