Performed development of Radio Room for submarines and Littoral Combat Ship (LCS). Primary focus was on Operating System development, preparing OS, integrating drivers, and setting up network configuration. Also developed application code in java and C. Analyzed security vulnerabilities, identified solutions and worked with customer to find appropriate resolution.Created detailed schedules, assigned budgets, tracked progress, and performed Earned Value Management. Assisted in duties of Project Manager, ensuring completion of development activities so we could meet schedule commitments. Performed development of CMS-2 compiler, including all life cycle phases. Focus was on code generation, generating code for 5 different hardware targets. Analyzed instruction set architecture for new targets, designed code sequences and code optimizations, recommended language extensions to accommodate new or modified hardware architectures. Developed an automated test platform for the compiler. Performed maintenance of CMS-2 system libraries.Supervised the MTASS group. MTASS is a suite of system software tools, including compilers, linkers, simulators and related tools. Activities included assigning work tasks, scheduling, tracking progress, and developing processes. Also led customer support activities, including development of technical descriptions, writing articles for trade publications, and leading technical presentations.
