I am a dedicated public servant with 20+ years of experience in City Manager and Deputy City Manager roles leading cross-functional units to facilitate essential and developmental services to towns and cities with populations of up to 49K. I have held accountability for operations including Police, Fire, Public Works, Parks & Recreation, Finance, and many others. I have also worked tirelessly to drive economic, capital, and programmatic improvements to the cities I have managed to make them safer and more prosperous places to live for my constituents. I feel truly grateful to have established a career doing work which I find so rewarding. Having the chance to contribute to the improvement of so many people’s lives on a daily basis, while getting to collaborate with the brilliant people around me to solve complex problems is incredibly energizing and I am eager to see what challenges my skills allow me to concur next.Outside of work, I’m heavily involved in the Appalachian State Alumni Association and I am a huge college sports fan (Go Mountaineers!).
