Served as Administrator of Westgate Christian School from 1991-present and Minister of Music from 1991-2006. Current activities include supervision and teaching in the school, serving in the church choir and orchestra, teaching the Auditorium Bible Class and Ministering as Senior Adults Pastor.

Served the church on Pastoral Staff as Minister of Music and Youth Pastor. Duties included planning and conducting all youth events, teaching Bible classes, conducting the visitation program, directing the church choir and congregational music, preaching and counselling. While there, in connection with Brad Zockell, Youth Pastor at West Park Baptist Church, I helped initiate the East Tennessee Youth Organization which combined youth groups from fundamental Baptist Churches in the area for periodic fellowships and outreach opportunities.

Taught History and other Social Studies courses at the Secondary level. Originated and conducted the school band program which accomplished a 1st place finish in the TACS State Fine Arts Competition and twice represented the State of Tennessee in the AACS National Fine Arts Competition at Bob JonesUniversity in 1987 and 1988. Organized the church orchestra for Temple Baptist Church which accompanied the congregational singing and performed offertories in the services. Coached the Junior-Varsity Basketball Squad.

Served as Minister of Music, ordained to the Gospel Ministry( May 1980). Started and administrated West Park Christian School, achieving Accreditation from the Tennessee Association of Christian Schools in 1982. Conducted church choirs and brass ensemble, presented choral programs of the church and lead congregational singing. Taught the Auditorium Bible Class and worked with youth ministry.
