I am a Principal Advisor for Larta Institute, an LA-based non-profit organization with the mission to “transform technology ideas into solutions that elevate economic opportunities and make lives better for people around the world.” As a Principal Advisor, I provide strategic and business advice to companies in Larta’s commercialization programs produced for USDA, NSF, DOE and also to companies selected to present at the Ag Innovation Showcase that Larta produces annually in collaboration with its partner the Donald Danforth Plant Science Center.

TechAccel, LLC is a venture development and technology organization that invests across the agriculture, animal health, and food science industries. TechAccel looks to advance early-stage science across these sectors and deliver new products and solutions to the marketplace.

Leads KBA's investments in agriculture and animal health. Responsible for analyzing investment opportunities, working with founders/entrepreneurs, identifying and advancing investible opportunities resulting from disruptive bioscience technologies. Internal subject matter expert on agriculture, bioenergy, biofuels, biorefining and animal health.

Responsible for the development and implementation of strategies to build the company’s US ethanol trading business. Overall Operational and P&L responsibility for the company’s Caldwell, ID ethanol facility. Operational responsibility for company’s Kingston, Jamaica dehydration facility. Maintained active participation in Fuel Ethanol industry to advance company presence, monitor legislative developments, and identify potential partners or acquisition opportunities.

Responsible for the Operational and P&L performance of the company’s planned ethanol facilities –including Staffing, Recruiting, Environmental Health & Safety, and Operational procedures & strategies

Full Operational and P&L Responsibility for 2 green field Fuel-Grade Ethanol plants in US from business organization and staffing through facility start-up with dual reporting responsibility to Board of Directors and Management Company. Successfully led both companies through subsequrent refinancings, expansions and technological upgrades.

Full Operational and P&L Responsibility for 11,000 cwt / day wheat flour mill including synchronizing plant operations, product sales, quality and wheat origination in a union facility
