I am a bilingual (English/Korean) Engineer with a lifelong mindset to learn.I am working at Talend as A Technical Support Engineer where I am helping customers troubleshoot different types of problems in a wide range of complexity. I developed excellent customer service skills throughout my years working at Regal Cinemas during college as an Associate Manager. Catering to many different customers helped improve my customer interactions while aligning with company procedures.At Noble Systems, I extended my customer service skills at the Support & Service department. I joined the Upgrades team shortly after and have been performing Software Upgrades on Linux and Windows servers.Since then, I have been recognized as the Support Employee of the Quarter for Q4 2020.At home, I practice developing Android Apps (Java), taking Python courses, maintaining a robust home network, and always seeking to improve my quality of life.Completed projects:* Created TCP windowed connection application (Java) between multiple computers and implemented simulated drop rates to check and resolve dropped packets. (School project)* Hospital Inventory Management System (Java). Inventory was tracked in SQLite and the frontend application was coded as a team. (School group project)* Weather API (Python) using OpenWeatherMap. Users enter a city name and relevant weather information is returned. A simple GUI window displays the UI and information. Uses JSON format and REST API. (Personal project)* Repurposed an unused network camera to run independent of service providers. Access requires authentication and can be used on both local and wide networks. Created an Android app to connect to the feed easily. (Personal project)Ongoing projects:* Random Number Generator (Android app). Users interact with the app by setting ranges of numbers and a parameter to either return only unique results or duplicates. This is a simulation app for popular lottery games such as Powerball or Mega Millions. I am refining this app to be more useful and look cleaner. (Personal project)* Python API Practice. Using different open-source APIs to explore and learn. In the process, I will design and create more applications. (Personal project)
