A native of Athens, Tony received a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from UGA's Grady College of Journalism and Mass Communication and has been employed by the University for 21-years, holding the position of Director of Donor Relations and Stewardship for the past eight. Prior to his move to University-wide donor relations, he served in stewardship and student services roles for the Terry College of Business and College of Education, respectively. His service experience and skill-set allowed him to double the size of the Office of Donor Relations and Stewardship, which now employs seven full-time staff. Tony and his team take pride in practicing an "attitude of gratitude" while creating fun, fresh ways to steward UGA's donors of all giving levels.Tony volunteers in the nonprofit sector with Advantage Behavioral Systems, and he has served as a Trustee of the Athens-Clarke Heritage Foundation and as a board member for the UGA Women’s Gymnastics Ten-0 Club. He enjoys travel and spending time between his home base of Athens and his getaway in the beautiful mountains of North Carolina.
