Undertake a highly specialist team leader role alongside the clinical lead in cystic fibrosis (CF) in planning, co-ordinating, delivering and evaluating the inpatient and outpatient Physiotherapy service provided to the service lines on a day to day basis.To provide expert input regarding the management and treatment of other respiratory patients if required ie non CF Bronchiectasis.To take a lead role in the advanced assessment and treatment of patients within the speciality who may have highly complex needs, and to determine clinical diagnosis and physiotherapy treatment indicated, maintain records as an autonomous practitioner.To be responsible for the supervision of junior team members within the cardiorespiratory therapy team.To be responsible for the continuing professional development and overall performance of all therapy staff in the service.

Since 2021, I am working in a regional Adult Cystic Fibrosis Unit and now a static member within the team.Indepth development as a respiratory therapist within Cardiothoracic and General Intensive Care Unit for nearly 2 years. Within this period of time, I have had the experience to manage COVID patients within the intensive care settings. In these settings, I have expanded my clinical skills to manage acutely deteriorating patients and rehabilitating long stay ICU patients with respiratory needs.

Had the opportunities to be seconded to a senior post in Care of the Elderly.Further developed my team management and clinical skills as a senior physiotherapist.Had the opportunites to participate in a national study - Home-based Extended Rehabilitation of Older people (HERO)

Completed core rotations in MSK, Respiratory and Neuroscience.Developed a keen interest working within respiratory areas and completed rotations in surgical, general ICU and cardiology.
