With a history of working in conventional and special operations units, COL Thacker understands multifaceted environments. He can provide advanced civil analytics to strategic leadership because of his proven record of delivering feasible, acceptable, sustainable and distinguishable solutions to complex challenges across multi domain, inter-organizational & multinational, environments. He has a strong operations background and is skilled in planning, executing and leading sizable organizations focused on large scale, precision Enterprise solutions in support of National Security outcomes to include Combat, Homeland Security, Counterinsurgency, and Humanitarian Assistance & Disaster Relief experience. COL Thacker holds a Master’s degree in International Relations (Middle East focus), a Master’s in Military Arts and Science, and a Master’s degree in National Strategic policy and security. He was the lead Civil Affairs officer at SOCOM and CENTCOM prior to his retirement, and while at SOCOM, was the co-author of the first book on the Gray Zone Theory. COL Thacker is a graduate of the Navy War College (Senior Service School) and has 14 combat deployments demonstrating his impressive on-the-ground experience and leadership.
