progressa (progressa™) (formerly: Creditloans Canada Financing). A leading Fintech company based out of Vancouver, British Columbia focused on helping Canadians find alternative lending options that aids in debt consolidation while removing expensive options similar to pay day loans. progressa offers flexible installment loan solutions and offers repayment plans that progress a customer through lower interest rates as payments are received. Reported into the CEO and Board, and managed the PMO, Lending Operations, Collections, and Business Development teams. Accountable for ~110 employees and building out the Toronto office & teams. • Grew loan portfolio from $4M annual originations to approx. $50m, exceeding expected growth by over 400%. • Expanded lending operations from 30 employees in Vancouver to 100+ in Toronto. Increased access to required skill/experience labor pool and talent needed for business growth. Improved access to larger investment groups for lending capital and strategic partnerships. • Successfully launched into point of sales financing and diversifying the unsecured loan portfolio. Reducing concentration risk within the portfolio and provided access to higher credit quality customers. • Recruited and built an executive team across PMO, Risk, and Operations.
