I worked as a student worker in the Information Technology field. I helped with problems with printers, hard drive partitioning, operating system installs, and I used Facebook to provide students with sources for potential employment.

As a solution specialist my role for the company is to take care of the customers and grow the business. In any given day I go from technical support for electronics that Verizon offers, to showing people new technology and putting it in their lives. Most of the job requires having some knowledge on technologies and how they work and how they are changing. In this role I constantly have to demonstrate the value of having Verizon and the products they offer and integrate it into their lives.

Represent the company to the public. I have to listen to people and what they need and try to put them in the vehicle that matches their needs. Have to be good at making friendships and listening to people's needs. I also have to keep in contact with customers before they come in the store and after they have purchased a vehicle. I good deal of my job is selling myself and the inventory of the business.

I was the face of the store to the public and had to be good with customer interactions. I had to take orders and try to keep my sales for appetizers, desserts and drinks. I also have to entertain the customers and keep up with multiple tables with multiple customers at the same time. I also handle all monetary transactions that occurred between the business and the customers.
