Supervisor of ten employees. Branch is responsible for project delivery of capital improvement projects for MSD. Projects are in various phases from planning to closeout phase. 70 projects range in construction costs from $25,000 to $100 Million, with total portfolio of over $400 Million. Responsibilities include communication to staff and other MSD divisions.• Utilize project management tools eBuilder, Primavera P6 and PowerBi to report monthly progress on Key Performance Indicators for Cashflow, Encumbrances and Schedules.

Providing guidance to Construction Managers and Inspectors and providing support to Wastewater Engineering Superintendent, Chief Engineer and MSD Director on technical, administrative, and managerial issues.• Leader of the Construction Management Branch. Construction Branch has over 30 employees. Employees include members of two different labor unions. Branch is responsible for final phase of capital improvement projects for the district. Projects range in construction amounts from $50,000 to $30 Million. Responsibilities include communication to staff and other MSD divisions, review of construction change requests and change orders.• Supervision of five construction managers in the Construction Management Branch. Construction managers are responsible for construction oversight of wastewater treatment, wastewater collections and watershed operations capital improvement projects for the district. • Manages responses to citizens’ issues on construction projects. Coordinates with MSD development services, wastewater collections, wastewater treatment, City and County departments and other municipalities before, during and after construction activities.

Supervising Engineer in the Project Management Branch. Providing guidance to Senior Engineers and providing support to Principal Engineer.• Manager of four project managers in the Project Management Branch. Project managers are responsible for scope, schedule and budget of wastewater treatment, wastewater collections and watershed operations capital improvement projects for the district. Projects are in various stages of completion; from planning to project closeout. Branch manages an average of $22 million in annual design services. Responsibilities include communication to staff and other MSD divisions and review of branch deliverables.• Project manager for the Werk Westbourne Enhanced High Rate Treatment Project. The project had a $44 million budget and was a Consent Decree project which met all of its’ deadlines. Responsibilities included negotiating design and construction phase services, review of design submittals, oversight of construction phase and communication with the public.• Supervised completion of the District Wide Wastewater Treatment SCADA project. Negotiated final change order when previous project manager retired.

Project manager in the Engineering Management Division. Project management of multiple capital improvement projects including wet weather improvement program and asset management projects. Responsible for managing scope, schedule and budget.• Project manager for the Eastern and Delta Sewer Separation Bundle. Responsibilities included management of a multi-phase wet weather project, management of design consultant and construction contractor. Negotiated change in project scope while meeting the consent decree objectives; reducing the project cost and meeting consent decree milestones.• Prepared legislations for Hamilton County Commissioners approval. Legislations types included design and construction funding, Capital Improvement Program book requests, and easement appropriation legislation. Responsibilities included verifying legislated funds, estimating costs for project completion and preparation of required documents.• Project manager for the Muddy Creek WWTP Bundle Project. Responsibilities included negotiating design and construction phase services, review of design submittals and construction coordination with other projects at the treatment plant.

Project manager in the Civil Engineering Section. Responsibilities included project management of various civil engineering projects. Clients included Townships, Villages and large municipal Cities.• Designed and administered construction of 5,500 linear feet of gravity sewer for Sanitation District No. 1. Responsibilities included design, bidding assistance, review of pay requests, monthly submittals for grant/loan reimbursements and preparation of record documents. • Project management and design of sanitary pump station and forcemain for the Ohio University Airport. Responsibilities included topographic survey, pump station design and construction management.• Designed replacement of water and sanitary utilities for 6,000 feet of the Beall Avenue Streetscape project in Wooster, Ohio. Responsibilities included topographic survey and utility coordination.• Designed various sanitary sewer projects for Sanitation District No. 1 in Northern Kentucky ranging in size from 100 to 1,500 linear feet. Responsibilities included technical design from conception to construction documents, development of cost estimates and preparation of record documents.• Designed utility relocation for the Newport Pavilion Development Project. Project included relocation of 4,000 feet of 20” water mains, replacement of 2,100 feet of 30” sewer and 2,500 feet of new 8-24” diameter sanitary sewer. Coordinated with gas, electric, telephone, cable and storm utilities.

Project engineer in the Water Resource Division. Responsibilities included detailed design and project management of various civil engineering projects.• Project management of bidding process and construction administration of water treatment plant for the Village of Manchester, Ohio. Duties performed were; addressing bidders’ questions, preparation of addenda, management of funding sources, review of bids, preparation of contract documents, construction administration and review contractor equipment submittals.• Designed sanitary sewer system for the Village of Hamden, Ohio. Approximately 35,000 linear feet of new sewer, 17,500 feet of force main, and two pump stations were designed to convey wastewater to the City of Wellston for treatment. Responsibilities included technical design from conception to construction, conducting project meetings, management of funding sources and development of cost estimates.• Designed headworks facilities for the Springboro, Ohio WWTP. Responsibilities included detailed design of the influent pump station, fine screens and grit handling system.

Project engineer in the Water Resource Division. Responsibilities included detailed design of various civil engineering projects.• Designed combined sewer separation on Camargo Road for Metropolitan Sewer District of Greater Cincinnati. Project separated over 6,000 linear feet of combined sewers and eliminated three Combined Sewer Overflows.• Participated in system-wide flow monitoring project for the Metropolitan Sewer District of Greater Cincinnati. Installed and maintained flow meters within the Mill Creek drainage basin.• Conducted environmental site inspections for stream conservation for the Metropolitan Sewer District of Greater Cincinnati. Inspection was performed along a 5-mile section of the Mill Creek. Responsibilities included visual site inspections, coordination with the contractor, reviewing applicable regulations and project specifications, and communication with the owner.
