For the last 20 years I have been a stay at home mother and full time volunteer. My energies have been directed at raising my 21st century daughters ensuring they are prepared to be productive, involved, educated, happy members of society. I have held membership and leadership positions in community service organizations including The Links, Incorporated, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., and Jack and Jill of America, Inc. I am a graduate of Leadership Oakland Cohort XXX. I currently serve on the Leadership Council of the College of Arts and Letters at Michigan State University and am the co-chair of the Diversity Equity and Inclusion Alumni Committee for the college. As Vice President of the Pierians Inc. Detroit chapter I oversee arts programming for the chapter and am a recently elected Pierians Foundation Inc. Director. I have always been actively immersed with the education of young people. It is my goal to ensure all of our youth are given a path to succeed.
