I am an animal-loving, tree-hugging, water-baby (sweat, tears, or the sea for me!) happy to do anything in nature. I am passionate about mental, emotional, and behavioral health and believe whole-heartedly that people are only at their best when striving for respect, gratitude, and inter-relational harmony for and in all aspects of our world. That being said, I am also a realist and recognize the current problems we're all facing. I'll be the first to acknowledge my privileges and have no qualms advocating for change and engaging in actions to make changes for the benefit of all, especially those with little or no voice, like animals, children, and oppressed and marginalized populations. I embrace the need for equality, fairness, and justice and will fiercely defend and protect, all the while understanding the necessity and strength of compromise. I find value in conflicting voices from my own, as they ignite the flames of creativity, get us out of our comfort zones, and motivate us to action.We all have purpose and we all have individual gifts, even if we've yet to figure out what they may be. I would love to hear your ideas and work together, empowering each other to protect and define the future!
