My mission is to deliver expert advice on FEA, by means of training, mentoring and consultancy. I strongly believe in the importance of knowledge transfer, to improve existing skill sets or provide motivation and guidance to the new generation of engineers.Since 2007 my consultancy, FETraining, has developed and delivered over 200 online e-learning classes. Nearly 6000 attendees have benefited from my experience during that time.I have given nearly 100 on site training classes to a wide range of clients across the world. This covers the full range of analysis disciplines, from Dynamics to Non-linear analysis.I continue to provide direct FEA consultancy and mentoring support for a range of clients.I write a monthly column in Digital Engineering magazine, covering many topical areas of CAE and also specialist articles exploring important fundamentals of FEA.Experience:I spent 20 years in industry working on projects with many companies, including BAE Sytems, Rolls Royce and Associates, Airbus, Westland Helicopters, Boeing, MBDA, Goodrich, Alenia. For 10 years I ran support and training groups for MSC.Software and NEi. Discipline areas:Dynamics, Composites, Fatigue and Fracture Mechanics, Optimization, Non-linear and Thermal analysis. I have used all of the major FEA tools.
