Currently serving as Walton County Public Schools' Parent Mentor for the Department of Exceptional Education, as well as the District Title I Parent Involvement Coordinator for the Department of Federal Programs. I also maintain several website, social media pages and newsletters to help facilitate communication and information dissemination for Walton County parents.Having been a Sales Development professional for over 10 years in Outside Technology Sales, I made the decision to return to college at Gwinnett Tech to realize a life-long dream of finally completing my degree. In May 2014, I graduated with an Associates in Applied Science Degree as an Internet Specialist in Web Design and Development with a 4.0 GPA! I am currently attending Southern Polytechnic pursuing my B.S. online for I.T. I am a true example of "It's never too late to pursue your dreams"! As a proponent of "Lifelong Learning", it really is no surprise at all that I am in college at this stage of life, not to mention finally landing in the field of Education itself. I am excited about what the future holds for this new direction in my professional career!
