So many lives, so many stories, so much that we do is a journey that leaves its mark on our spirit while we get a chance daily to leave our mark on others. On my journey, through the challenges, I have developed a strong desire to help all working parts of the housing industry, from ensuring residents have a happy and secure home life, to providing structure, support and leadership to my staff, to increasing revenue for my owners and investors, to securing reliable and efficient vendors, and maintaining positive connections with your city and county advocates. It can be difficult for some to navigate and be a successful component without experiencing that “burnout” we hear about more and more, but it is a tireless and rewarding challenge to be such an integral part of a company- once you’ve found the right fit!! That being said, it seems characters and motivations took a nosedive lately, especially during the pandemic. These have greatly affected our industry, for residents, staff, and owners, alike. It has become my motivation to address these negatives and turn these challenges within the industry around. My own personal experiences from some of the pandemic’s effects are what continue to move me. I am passionate and I am dedicated. I will stay through until we get it, no matter what it is! I have left a positive imprint before, during, and after the pandemic because I have a sincere passion for this industry. My properties have won various awards over the years and I have been recognized and a recipient of top achievement awards, including collections. I dream of owning my own community or becoming a partner before I retire. Even then, I still intend to work, just remotely from a catamaran in the tropics. 😊
