I also sat on the Management Committee having responsibility for oversight of all aspects of Seer's business. Before Seer, I built and ran investment platforms and trading books at a number of large alternative investment companies. Most notably, in 2006-2007, I was an early identifier of the Great Recession and established short positions with real estate-backed derivative products to capitalize on the market sell-off.
