I am currently enrolled as a transfer student in the school of business at Portland State University, pursuing a double major Bachelors Degree in Finance and Business Technology Analytics. My fascination for what numbers is what sparked an interest in the finance field. My main learning objectives are around financial management, and I am eager to acquire as much knowledge as I can. Nothing comes easy as my entrepreneur experience has taught me. At the age of 18 I started my first business, which through trial and error allowed me to experience a great deal of lessons that no classroom has taught me. It has made me more confident in making strategical decisions. Presently I manage my own trucking business, due to my experience I am able to administer every aspect efficiently and effectively. Even though I am a full-time student, my time management skills have allowed me to manage my employees 24/7. As well as, conducting any maintenance when needed without having to be dependent on someone else to carry on the task. In addition, I have also expanded my sales, and marketing through B2B. Furthermore, my college experience has brought me in contact with such diverse amounts of cultural and ethnic backgrounds which has helped me enhance my communication skills overall. I am strong believer that improvement is an everyday endeavor to manifest success.
