The Project Executive is the point person responsible for all services provided to the client on large complex outsourcing contracts. The Project Executive constructs effective partnerships between clients, various businesses within IBM, vendors, and subcontractor organizations. My clients included ACE INA Holdings, Honeywell International, BHP Billiton, National Australia Bank, Fireman’s Fund Insurance Company, and Allianz Managed Operations and Services of America.

Managed the initial phase of a project to create a DoubleClick Command Center in Thornton, CO and shutdown existing Network Operation Centers in Toronto and New York.

Successfully transitioned managed services from outsourcer to Bank One while simultaneously delivering on key corporate initiatives that received attention on Wall Street.

Part of the executive management team assembled by the United States Olympic Committee's (USOC's) first ever CEO to enact McKinsey recommended reforms.Developed, obtained Board of Directors approval for, and executed an internet strategy and operating plan. Assembled a team that successfully overhauled the USOC's web site prior to the Sydney Olympic Games.

Assembled 1999 and 2000 operating plans for T. Rowe Price Investment Technologies. Plans were presented to and approved by T. Rowe Price's Finance Committee.Led the effort that resulted in T. Rowe Price's selection in Computerworld's Top 100 Best Places to Work in IT.Drafted and implemented a contractor policy that significantly reduced potential liability to the firm.Implemented processes, tools, and reporting to improve IT project management.Implemented a modeling tool and published system level, business unit level, and enterprise data models to improve the efficiency of application development.

Negotiated the termination of an outsourcing agreement saving USF&G $2.7 million dollars in 1997. Created an integrated client/server mainframe operations organization.Led the implementation of a program that resulted in the production of high availability, supportable, client/server applications.Managed the implementation of critical systems management and architectural infrastructure components as part of a high priority I/S project. Received special recognition for achievements in teamwork, timeliness of delivery, quality and business impact on a project with aggressive objectives.

Led a team of nineteen professionals to the profitable completion of a variety of Information Technology projects for Fortune 100 clients. Obtained follow-on work by meeting and exceeding customers expectations on all projects.Led the design, development, and implementation of an ORACLE database application for Motorola that is used on a daily basis to monitor and improve the quality of training for business units worldwide.

Thoroughly researched multimedia technology and wrote the technical section of the business plan for a start-up company that produced interactive media and provided consulting services.

Taught Electrical Engineering course to 3rd year engineering majors. Awarded title of Master Instructor and received a Letter of Commendation from the Superintendent of the Naval Academy for providing superior instruction.

Directed and supervised all ship operations when on duty at sea or in port. Recommended for early promotion as a result of outstanding performance.Led a team of plant operators to the successful completion of the complex evolutions required to support the defueling of USS Tullibee’s nuclear reactor. Defueling was completed ahead of schedule and without incident.
