Working with a great operations and technical team, we delivered our first LTI free year, 30% operating cost reduction, and 28% capital cost reduction through personnel restructuring and vendor negotiations. Implemented a corporate stage gate process to align investment opportunity evaluation. Responsible for 250+ person operations and technical team developing assets and exploring for oil and gas in Colombia and Ecuador. Accountable for corporate reserves, exploration and development capital budget execution, portfolio management, and support of capital markets and banking syndicate presentations. Full P&L responsibility.

Led a team developing light oil stacked pay in Northern Alberta. Focused on capital restructuring and leading restructuring efforts through CCAA process. Delivered a $116MM debt restructuring and secured $30MM funding to continue evaluation work.

Developing Cardium in Pembina and Willesden Green areas of West Central Alberta, Heavy Oil in the Peace River Area, and Viking in Eastern Alberta. Leading 200 person team of technical professionals and field operations team. Full P&L responsibility. Delivered $5 per bbl operating costs reduction through field organization restructuring and vendor negotiations. Refocused portfolio to 3 core areas after supporting over $2B asset divestment. Delivered first year of 10% production growth in over 6 years and 126% 2P reserve replacement.

Responsible for leading a multi-discipline team of 30 oil and gas professionals in maximizing value from our assigned assets producing 30,000 boepd. Developing the Montney, Doig, Cardium, Bluesky, Lower Mannville and Glauc in NW AB . Working with a great team, we grew Montney unconventional production from zero to 5,000 boepd in 24 months. Implemented new infrastructure solutions to support drilling activities.

Junior E&P operating two mature waterfloods and evaluating ASP EOR in the Strathmore Field. Responsible for all D&C operations, production team and corporate reserves.

Responsible for leading a multi-disciplinary group of 60 professionals to develop oil and gas assets assigned to our team. Executed $150MM+ capital budgets, optimizing mature waterfloods, implementing new waterfloods, and developing asset development plans including enhanced oil recovery (EOR) opportunities in a mature part of the Western Canadian Sedimentary Basin.

Recruited to project manage a CO2 EOR project evaluation in France. Responsible for setting up project scope, schedule, budget, controls, and economic analysis. Delivered preliminary Phase 2 assessment that determined project was not economic. Resigned position to evaluate other opportunities. Joined Apache Canada Ltd. in the fall of 2009.

Responsible for production optimization of several pools in Block 14 (Masila) in Yemen. I evaluated new technologies to accelerate production and recovery from several mature pools. Directed day to day optimization of ESP artificial lift and completion design using nodal analysis.Project Manager for chemical EOR project. Developed project scope of work including, initial scoping and risk assessment, rock and fluid studies including special core analysis and simulation. Completed economic screening and final report for management and Government Ministry of Minerals.

Sought out opportunity to gain advanced completion experience with Schlumberger. Worked in Rosharon, Tx as a completion engineer in the Completions Support Group as part of WCP. Worked on an ESP intelligent completion in Ecuador and several international projects including a multizone intelligent completion in the North Sea. Seconded to Sakhalin Energy Investment Company (Shell) in Den Haag, NL. Performed project coordinator role for SEIC working on offshore big bore gas completions in the Russian Far East. Responsible for equipment QA/QC, procurement, sub-assembly design and engineering design.

Worked as a production engineer in Wascana Energy's (Can Oxy/Nexen) Heavy Oil Business Unit. Worked several heavy oil pools in Lloydminster and Kerrobert, Saskatchewan.Took a 3 year development geology position as part of the new grad development program to gain a better understanding of the subsurface. Drilled over 100 hz wells in 3 years on the Hay project in NE BC and the Winter pool in Saskatchewan. Responsible for geologic mapping, prognosis and wellbore placement, core logging and evaluation and depositional environment modelling.Returned to production engineering in the Midale/Alida pools in SE Saskatchewan. Mentored a team of junior production engineers.
