Experience Design Lead – Wyndham City Stadium & Precinct Project
Led the experience design for the Wyndham City Stadium and Precinct project in Western Melbourne, focusing on enhancing fan experiences and operational efficiency through innovative technology solutions. This project required the development of user-centered strategies to address the diverse needs of athletes, event attendees, VIPs, and local residents within a complex, multi-functional environment.Key Responsibilities:Stakeholder Engagement: Conducted surveys, interviews, and workshops to gather insights from various user groups, ensuring that the design solutions were aligned with stakeholder needs.Design Thinking Workshops: Facilitated three key workshops: - Persona Validation: Refined user personas based on stakeholder feedback. - POV Need Statements: Identified and prioritized user needs. - Experience Mapping: Developed user journey maps to guide design and technology implementation.Technology Strategy: Developed 154 technology use cases, recommending solutions such as mobile applications, advanced surveillance systems, and real-time communication platforms to enhance user experience and operational efficiency.Key Achievements:- Created 11 detailed persona segments and 22 experience maps to inform the design and implementation phases.- Successfully aligned design strategies with WMG’s vision for a tech-driven, immersive environment.- Established a framework for continuous improvement, ensuring the stadium's technology and user experience evolve with future needs. This project demonstrates my ability to lead complex, user-centered design initiatives that drive both operational efficiency and customer satisfaction, with applications that extend beyond the stadium to various multi-functional environments.
