I progressed into the role of Project Manager where I was in charge of an entire engagement. I was also involved with Established Accounts Maintenance where we were responsible for enforcing maintenance contract and selling new product to existing customers.

I Managed 25 associates across 3 functions: General Accounting, Field Cash Operations, and Cash Remittance. I was able to implement various operational efficiencies including a software package that streamlined the high-volume bank reconciliation process before the company was acquired and relocated to Little Rock, AR.

I managed 6 Accountants and 3 Interns responsible for compiling, recording and analyzing all worldwide accounting activity. I coordinated the domestic and international month-end close process optimizing the close cycle from 14 to 6 days. My team managed the accounting and analysis for all merger and acquisition activity with the goal of integrating accounting operations accurately and within targeted deadlines. I initiated and facilitated the chart of accounts re-engineering effort and the PeopleSoft general ledger conversion. My team was responsible for the year-end audit and quarterly reviews as well as preparation of financial analysis for the quarterly Analyst call.

I supervised 4 Accountants responsible for compiling, recording and analyzing all accounting activity. I Coordinated and prepared yearly division-wide budget to be consolidated with company-wide plan. I performed monthly analysis of all major expense categories by department to assess budget compliance. I provided financial planning for department heads to help manage capital and operational expenditures.I transferred from the Accounting Supervisor position to a position in the IT department. I was a member of the Oracle Installation Management Team for the last year of my tenure.
