I provide strategic leadership in the planning and implementation of quality-based Service initiatives globally. My key responsibilities are to lead all activities and resources relating to the service and customer support of all product lines Spacelabs provides .

Southeast Region

I supervise a team of 12 Field Service Engineers in a 5 state region (Alabama, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina & South Carolina). My team are responsible for installation, service and customer relationship building providing patient monitoring services to hospitals throughout the region.

Greater Atlanta Area

I ensured full oversight for field service and implementation encompassing all Elekta products throughout the United States, the Caribbean, Mexico, and Canada. I also guided day-to-day team operations for two service directors, eight regional service managers, an HW implementation manager, an SW implementation manager, a technical escalation manger, and 181 various personnel. In turn, I established and sustained high productivity levels by actively defining, recruiting, and developing new team members aligning with desired key performance indicators (KPIs). I similarly instituted optimal system and process standardization within the company’s worldwide services while also implementing then-current resources and install base to help boost overall customer satisfaction. Lastly, I provided up-to-date services throughout North America via effective business changes, as well as the prioritization of needed process improvement projects/programs.While employed in this role, I made the following special contributions:• I contributed to 54% of Elekta’s overall profit through its ongoing development as a world-class service organization.• I served as the designated field service safety officer on behalf of third-party safety advisors.

Greater Atlanta Area

I supervised daily operations for eight regional service managers throughout the United States, the Caribbean, and Canada, with additional P&L accountability for then-current North American hardware services. I also maintained compliance with relevant KPIs by conducting hands-on quality assurance (QA) training for engineers, and performed dedicated on-the-job and administrative training for then-new regional service managers. I similarly coordinated service agreements to support marketing and contract creation for capital equipment upgrade paths. In turn, I retained a specified customer base by offering consultative services, and maintained beneficial relationships with the company’s U.S. sales department. Lastly, I developed numerous third-party vendor relationships to help increase efficiency, and drafted new job descriptions to help advance employees’ career opportunities.While employed in this role, I made the following special contributions:• I exceeded revenue targets by 3% to 5% across four consecutive years.• I increased service revenue and operating margin by instituting simplified service contracts and pricing.• I created an escalation plan allowing more immediate senior management involvement with customer issues.

Greater Atlanta Area

I supervised daily operations for 27 engineers across a 17-state region, with additional accountability for functional safety engineering (FSE) training efforts adhering to relevant team-focused KPIs. In turn, I met and exceeded KPIs while directly managing regional P&L, and ensured appropriate FSE operations via supplemental on-the-job and administrative training. I also oversaw the widespread sales of service agreements and upgrades to a specified customer base, as supported by frequent collaborations with the regional sales department. Lastly, I resolved emergent issues through regular meetings, conference, calls and site visits with engineers and customers.While employed in this role, I made the following special contributions:• I increased service contract penetration from 32% to 84% by developing a more understandable/accessible sales process for the company’s clientele.• I utilized a self-created KPI strategy to incentivize proper workplace procedure—and increase overall employee retention—through bonuses.• I interviewed over 250 potential candidates, and subsequently hired 100 new hires.
