This project added essential functionality to manage the learner’s applications and their disbursements.Lead Developer on the SFS Costing project. This standalone application allows the business unit to perform budgetary forecasting. Using multi-threading technologies, the time to run a complete costing scenario (assessing of up to 30,000 applications) takes 30 minutes, reducing the time of execution by a factor of ten from its predecessor. Lead Developer on the SFS Payments project. The payments process is run nightly and is responsible for identifying disbursements to be issued as cheques or certificates. The payments process interfaces with 3rd party and service providers, such as, Edulinx, Imagis and PAPRS.Team Lead, Lead Developer and Business Analyst on the Completion Incentive Grant (CIG) project. This project added a new application type to SFS. CIG applications are entered manually or auto-generated from eligible existing fulltime applications.Team Lead and Lead Developer on the SFS Provider and Program Registry (PAPRS) Cache Project. The data from the PAPRS database is processed and a SFS PAPRS Cache database is produced for use by SFS. Lead Developer on the Learner Electronic Document Upload project. This project is part of an initiative within Student Aid Alberta to eliminate paper documents. This responsive external facing web application was designed as mobile first.

All development was performed on the OS/2 platform with code written in C using the presentation manager library.In addition to the framework development, tasks included gathering and documenting the business requirements and specifications of a corporate workbench application for Royal Bank corporate account managers. This involved interviewing Royal Bank account managers.
