On site in the city of San Francisco, fundamentals of cinematography applied to hands on movie production, and principles of drama/story using digital SLR & video cameras, Kinoflex super 8 cameras & SLR film cameras. Study of masters Kubrick, Tykwer, McLaren, Ford, Polanski, Hitchcock, Antonioni, Disney, Lasseter, Jones, Dragic, Vukotic, etc. Also, teaching this course online through the Academy website, to students from all over the country.

Beginning, intermediate, graduate 2D traditional hand-drawn and digital animation courses. The primary focus was college-levels. Additionally, I taught high school students during Summer mostly, but also in the Fall & Spring called, "The Art Experience.

Teaching of classic art & animation principles, animation software, and cinematic storytelling. Students observe animated world cinema, observe drawn charts & instructions, and draw animated exercises exploring laws of physics, especially gravity. Exercises include chop sticks & pipes falling, to soap bubbles floating, heads doing takes & turning, emotions on facial expressions such as being mad, sad, & glad, butterflies & toucans flying, seaweed & flags waving, mouths talking, people walking. Skills in Digicel Flipbook are taught for timing, editing, coloring, sound synching, & final movies.

Creative work on educational CD-roms for children and parents. The format was fairy tales with interactivity for children to click on in learning words and concepts.

Work on Ziff Press computer CD-rom, "How Computers Work", a CGI presentation, starring "Zip Data", my own hand drawn character design, who added comic relief with numerous humorous bits in 2D animation.

Creating rough and cleaned up storyboards from scripts for thew "Goof Troop" TV Series.

Feature film animation work on Ralph Bakshi's film, "Cool World" in Burbank.

Commercials and promotional films on a free-lance basis. One was a 12 minute special promo for college students on how to invest wisely, another was a 30 second commercial for a shopping mall in New Jersey.
