As a teaching assistant I assist with the instruction of special education students 4th-8th grade both in the classroom and one-on-one.

• Identified potential business partners by creating original leads and contact lists
• Developed an effective sales pitch for the startup company to use during cold calls

Columbus, Ohio Area

• Coordinated and planned four Relay For Life events in the Columbus area on both the community and collegiate level, raising over $300,000
• Implemented a first year Coaches vs. Cancer and Crucial Catch program in high schools across Ohio’s Central, East, and Southeast regions
• Hosted the third annual Hockey Beats Down Cancer tournament, managing volunteers from across Columbus and raising over $20,000 in one weekend
• Managed American Cancer Society volunteers through recruitment, training, development, support, and accolades
• Built and maintained positive relationships in communities across Ohio to ensure a positive experience for American Cancer Society volunteers, sponsors, and leaders in the community
