Taken from concept to manufacture including injection mould design and material selection. Led a team of 12 people to manufacture a scale model and run a weekend exhibition at the NEC Big Bang Show 2014Implemented strain gauges and accelerometers to study the mechanical fatigue on machine components. Used to remove redundant components in a cost cutting exercise. Problem solved a new AdBlue system that suffered from pressurising under extreme temperatures. Working over holiday periods whilst at university. The role was diverse as the work was dependant on harvesting which in tern is dependant on the weather. Main role was supervising intake at a storage facility away from main site. Organising haulage into and away from site for harvest, conforming to road time and noise constraints and also site size. Sampling and testing each incoming load in a laboratory and cross checking against agreed specification. Communication with merchants delivering goods resolving issues with delivered product should it not pass testing.
